PAH ticket with more than one page

Hi guys

I'm wondering if any of you who have PAH tickets, are working with more than one page in your PDF file? We would like to add an information page about Covid-19 to the PAH ticket file. So page 1 is the ticket and page 2 is the information page. I have made a test, but if you have more than one ticket in your order, the data fields linked to the second ticket is shown on page 2 on top of the information text. The data fields for ticket no. 2 should be shown on page 3. Is this even possible?

Kind regards Louise

  • Hi Louise - I'm not sure this is possible. We've only ever used 1 page in the pdf file.

What I would do is to add the Covid-19 info to the email that delivers the PAH tickets rather than try to get it on the tickets themselves.

  • Hi Michele

That is actually a good idea :) But as far as I know, we can only have one type of e-mail for all our tickets? The information is specific for the performance since it is an outdoor event, and we would like the information on the tickets so the patrons have it in their hands when they arrive :)

  • What if you designed the PDF itself with 2 pages, then put the text for the ticket into the PDF design along with the Element fields? In order to do different tickets for different performances, you’d have to create different Ticket Designs and associated PDF’s for PAH, then specify the Ticket Design in the Pricing Tab for the performances.

The only caveat to this would be that the Ticket Design field in the TR_PAHT_CONFIGURATION table must be blank. If there is a value in that field in the config table, then the Ticket Design in that field would always be used regardless of the Performance Pricing tab.

  • It wouldn't come out on the PAH itself, but it sounds like Dynamic Email Content and/or Purchase Instructions might be useful for you - they can be limited just to the event in question.

  • Hi jerry

That is actually what I tested :) I designed a PDF file where page 1 is containing the Elements, and page 2 is just containing the information text.
But if I book an order with two seats (the ticket design is associated with the price type I select for the order) the Elements are shown on both page 1 and 2.
So my which is that the Elements for seat 2 is shown on page 3 :)
