Good afternoon,
I'm curious if anyone has had experience with a Pricing Rule which successfully discounts all items added to the cart from two specified performances based on a minimum quantity limit of tickets from one of those specified performances.
The use case is that the two performances are 1.) admission to an event and 2.) activity tickets for added participation during said event.
The pricing rule/discount scenario calls for the entire cart of tickets from these performances to be discounted by 15% if at least 3 activity tickets are added to the cart.
We've tried setting this up with a Multiple Price Type pricing rule where the admission price types are the first set and the activity price types are the second set, but it doesn't fire when the activity ticket criteria is met.
We've also tried setting this up as two separate pricing rules, one where the 15% discount is evaluated against the activity price type via a Seat Volume rule if 3 are in the cart, and one where the 15% discount is evaluated against the admission price type via an Add On pricing rule if 3 activity tickets are in the cart, but within the Pricing Rule Set it only ever fires one of these pricing rules based on which one has Rank priority in the set.
We have a Support ticket open for this as well, but I'd love to hear from anyone who has successfully done something like this in the past.
Thank you,
Brian
