Hello!
I am trying to inactivate Production Elements for upcoming events that have been canceled. In some cases, perfs/prods etc. never have and never will be used and so they can be deleted. However, there are other performances that cannot be deleted because there have been transactions previously associated (but all orders/tickets have been exchanged out of these perfs). I've created a new season (in TR_Season) for COVID canceled productions with fiscal year dates: 03/01/2020 - 08/31/2020. Even when I change the season for the production season, the perfs and production season are still showing as active.
Additionally, I'd like to inactivate the titles/productions these production seasons/perfs are associated with as they are also no longer relevant.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks!
There's not really a way to 'inactivate' these performances. You can update their Status and OnSale Indicator to take them off-sale in Season Maintenance - I'm not sure if that's what you're referring to?
Hi Michelle,
Several screens and reports in Tessitura use the "inactive" checkbox in TR_SEASON to show or hide production elements. Have you tried inactivating the relevant rows in TR_SEASON to see if that gets the results you're looking for?

I have done that as well, but this does not actually inactive performances. Thanks!
Yes, this is exactly what I've done and I think this is the closest I will get to a solution. I created a season in the system table titled "COVID canceled productions," moved the applicable production seasons into this season and then inactivated this season. This hides the production season/perfs, but not the title/production level.
If you change the publishing dates, that will remove them from appearing on the product catalog.
I think that is only for the performance level? I've inactivated the prod seasons/perfs by moving them into an inactive TR_SEASON, but this doesn't effect the Title/Production level.
Titles and Productions will show up if there are any active seasons associated with them (via Prod Seasons). If you've inactivated every relevant season and you're still seeing them, you may need to check the "Active Only" checkbox at the bottom of those screens -- that will filter the screen down to only production elements associated with an active season.
I've got it all sorted out now, thanks!
