Bulk add a performance to a list of IDs?

Nicolette – two ways I can think of for this is using the Order Import Utility, or a Rollover.

 

The order import utility would use data from a tab delimited text file that contains the customer_no field (with some other necessary data).

 

A rollover could be used if the customers are coming from an existing performance. I don’t believe a rollover can roll people without seating them. I don’t see any seating specific options in the Rollover Set manager. But if you’re rolling specific customers that had tickets to a performance, you could roll them into the $0.00 performance. More than one source performance would probably result in seat collisions.

 

That’s two ways to do it. Ultimately I don’t think it’s possible to create orders for performances without a batch. Please someone correct me on this if I’m wrong because there are times I’ve wished I could do exactly that.

 

Have you checked the user submitted solutions on the Network? Maybe someone already created something custom…
