Hello Tessitura wizards!
I am trying to report on some on account payment methods, but not EVERYTHING in these payment methods. Basically, I'm looking for orders that were processed last week like: On Account 1 is -$xx.00 and On Account 2 is $xx.00, for a net transaction of $0.
Anyone with some mad, or even mildly angry, SQL skills that can help me with this??
As always, your help is greatly appreciated!
Lesley
Hey Lesley!
I have added this to my COVID Cancellation Dashboard in Analytics. Essentially, I have a Pivot Table widget that is looking at the Finance Data Source. It is looking at Payment Method Type of On Account. You can look at Transaction Types of Refunds or Payment and both Tickets and Fees. You can also pull in the Transaction Dates from Last week. Reach out to me directly if you want to go through it together.

I am desperately trying to figure out how to pull a report or list to show transaction types, clearly and easily. I am an end-user and really have noone here who does this stuff, so we are always floundering to get what we need. Any ideas? I don't have dashboards or widgets or anything like that...
Thanks? lol
Hi Jennifer!
The Transactions by Posting Report can be pulled for specific Transaction Types. That being said, Tessitura Analytics is part of Tessitura so you might want to inquire about getting access to it. Dashboards are easy to share across organizations once you have access to Tessitura Analytics. I would be happy to share some dashboards with you. All it takes to get started once you have access are a few pointers, and an inquiring mind.
Hi Jennifer - if you find yourself with more questions about reporting, I want to invite you (and anyone else reading this) to join us at this week's analytic Coffee meeting! You can find the details here. It's always open to everyone, but generally we're a group of people at various experience levels talking through reporting both in Tessitura and on data pulled out of Tessitura.
Hi! That report doesn't allow for payment type, like to pull a list of stock gifts, credit cards or on account funds. Or am I missing something? I see gift types--like Pledge, Pledge payment, Ticket change etc-- not transaction types-which is not what we need.
