Is there a report that can track how much money has passed through an on account payment method? On account money (for us, at least) isn't intended to remain there, but more as a rest area before arriving at its final destination. We would like to be able to track the total amount that has ever hit a particular payment method, even if it goes to live somewhere else tomorrow. Either using a GL, or source code, or some payment method reporting magic or...

I needed something like this for reports for my Senior Director of Marketing. He needed to know where the money on account came from, where it went, what price type group they belonged to, what money went to ticket donations versus refunds, etc. I tried many different reports and Analytics to get this info, but I never got numbers I believed to be correct. I asked our DBA to create something, and it took SO. MANY. DAYS of being on the phone to get it working and get it right. He was able to create a pivot table that gave me the info we needed. I believe he has provided his code on the forums, but if not, I'm sure he would be able to get it to you or your DBA.
