Good Afternoon, Evening, and in some parts of the world, Good Morning -
I have been tasked to see if it is possible for Tessitura to act as a paywall for a live-stream event. Basically a patron would click on a link to purchase an event, once paid they would be given a link to access the live-stream.
I know we can easily sell an event and send a confirmation that includes a link or perhaps a PAH ticket with a link embedded. My question is how do I limit who that link is shared with? Can I make a link a one time use link?
I've never worked with memberships, but could that be used somehow?
Any ideas or suggestions would be most helpful.
Thanks,

Hi Kimberly:Super good news this Friday! For the TNEW users in the community, we are developing this exact thing now, due out in July.
The process will be to post your content to whatever streaming service you choose (YouTube, brightcove, vimeo, etc) and place the content link behind the TNEW digital content paywall. The customer does a normal TNEW checkout process and can access the content (and again later on their My Account page in a new digital content hub). Here's some more information: https://www.tessituranetwork.com/Support/Roadmap/TNEW#gated
We're parallel developing Pay What You Can for TNEW too -- we know that will be a useful addition to the product as well as super helpful for allowing flexible pricing on the different types of content you may want to serve up. That's due out in July as well.
Keep an eye on the TNEW roadmap page overall (same URL above) as we're updating it often with lots of new great things. The Tessitura roadmap page is about to be similarly updated so keep eyes out for that soon too. https://www.tessituranetwork.com/Support/RoadmapKristin
For those not on TNEW, will there be any options to use Tess as a paywall? We just got a custom Adage website a few years ago and are using SmartSeat.
