Multiple discounts in one cart

Hi! Does anyone know if it is possible to apply multiple discounts to one cart?

We have an 'upgrade' option on our tickets where visitors can upgrade from their entry ticket to a membership or a pass. We process this as a discount on the membership/pass added to the cart, removing the cost of the initial ticket from the cost of the membership/pass product. I've found that when we want to upgrade different price types within the one cart (eg upgrade from a concession ticket to a concession pass, and upgrade from an adult ticket to an adult pass) it only lets us apply one discount type. So we end up discounting, say, the concession ticket price off both the adult and concession pass, rather than the adult price off the adult pass and the concession price off the concession pass. Has anyone found a way around this? Or are we destined to process each of these as a seperate transaction?

Thanks :)

I know you usually use Quicksale (QS) for these transactions, so it is true that the Discount option via QS doesnt allow you to apply the Discount button for each sub line item (ie ticket) separately.

However if you were to jump over to the Order Details tab temporarily you can work with each ticket there to apply separate discounts.

Go to Sub Line Items tab and highlight one row then hit the "Price Dtls" button along the bottom of the screen.
The Discount option is available in the upper right. Select the discount appropriate to that ticket (eg the Concession discount with the Concession ticket highlighted).

The Discount options presented will be filtered to only those available to the related Upgrade Price Type.

Then repeat for the Adult ticket/s.

Also note that if there were, for example, 2 Adults and 1 Concession you can highlight the two Adult sub line items and discount them together in one action.

Once the discounts have been applied the operator can then jump back to QS to complete the transaction.

    Hope that helps!
