Can't resell tickets donated for resale

Hello - I'm using the Web/Cart/{sessionKey}/Tickets/ReturnWithSeat endpoint - what is the setting in Tessitura that I need to change in order to actually resell the seat after it has been returned? Right now I'm getting the same error as in this post, but the solutions suggested don't work - the seats just come back as unavailable, and I don't know why, nor do I know how to make them available.

  • Your theory makes sense but if you look at the seat map within the client the seat is not white“Avail”. It’s bright blue so it does have a hold. I believe if you use Best seat within client that it would not choose that seat. So, in that sense, it is working the same online.
     
    Were you releasing seats for a cancelled show, changing the date and hoping to resell online later? Our process is to return the seat and put money on account. Then Dev processes the contribution with the on account money and the seat is now white to be sold online. I’ve heard some folks creating new On Acct-COVID payment methods to track in more detail how those returns/donations are originating.
