AMEX Presales

Hello All,

I am looking for some insight on how others set up pre-sales for events. 

For our basic ones, setting up a promo code for early access works great. However, we have some larger promoters that want to do more complicated pre-sales. For Citibank we had to create 59 separate promo codes, and now we have AMEX wanting something more than that. 

If anyone has best practices that work well and keep promoters happy, I would love to hear them.

  • We have a presale with AMEX that has over 40 different promo codes. I have it so that there is actually only 1 source number and then all 40 promo codes are attached to the same source number and therefore only have to create the offer for 1 source number and not 40.

    We confirmed with AMEX that when we reported usage back to them they didn't need to know which specific codes were used, just that they were being used.
