subscription rollover challenges

Hello!

Who's smart regarding subscription rollovers and would be able to help talk me through a problem, I mean "challenge"?

I have made some changes to an existing facility in which ideally I would like to "move" one row of seats from one screen of the facility map to another. When a rollover happens, is it looking for the physical X-Y locations on the seat map, or the row/seat numbers (which feels unlikely), or some other option? Everything worked great with my rollover, except the 9 orders who should be seated in this row that moved.

I look forward to your shared wisdom!

Many thanks,

Lesley

  • Hi Lesley,

Rollovers function off of what is seated in the base map for packages, so yes the actual position of the seats in your facility. One idea is to add your row of seating to the desired screen & leave the old row as is for a moment. Run the facility update utility on your current season and then place this new row in a kill hold in each individual performance so they don't appear. Manually move  the base map seating location for these 9 patrons to the new row, but leave them as-is in the individual performances. Then go back in and remove the old row from the old screen in your facility, and run the facility update utility for next season's shows. Then try re-running your rollover for those people. Does that make sense? Of course, I would try this in TEST first to see if that does the trick, but that's where I would start. Feel free to call or email if you want to talk it through in any more detail: mherring@operacolorado.org 303.468.2024.

    Best,
