We use pricing rules to fire member price types, but members are limited to a certain number of tickets at the member rate (2 or 1 depending on their member level). I just had a member call to purchase a third ticket, but I couldn't find a way to override the pricing rule (which fires per order, not per constituent/event, unfortunately). Would an editable price type be the only way to solve this problem? We haven't used them yet and I want to be sure that they would show up with the correct (non-editable) amount on TNEW. Since we need to be able to make the tickets more expensive, it seems like this might be the way to go. But I was curious if anyone else had found a workaround. Once the ticket is seated I'm unable to change the price type.
