Hello,
I wanted to see how folks are tracking new versus renewed subscriptions in tessitura. We are thinking of using the comp code as a way to handle this. One issue I am seeing with this is I did not notice that the web api offers way to assign comp code subscription sale. If I am wrong about that please correct me. But I wanted to see what everyone else is doing.
Thanks!Jon
Hi Jon - we created three Constituencies; Subscriber New, Subscriber Renew and Subscriber Reinstated to track at the Constituent level. The Constituencies are scripted to update overnight based on transaction.
We then use the Constituencies in our custom subscription report to break down sales by package type and new/renewed/reinstated status, as well as a prompt on the Constituent record itself, so our customer services team know if their speaking with someone new to the whole shebang or a seasoned professional.

Thanks everyone for your responses! We ended up using the the roll over log table (tx_ro_log) to help calculate the renewal rate. I attached a screen shot of what our report looks like.
Hi! I know that this message was posted a few years ago, but I was wondering if you'd be willing to share that custom report? We are looking for this reporting functionality.
Thank you!
Lauren
Hi Lauren,
I created this report while I was at McCarter theatre center. You would need to contact someone over there about sharing it.
