Does anyone know of a way to scan tickets using NScan the day after an event? Also has anyone been able to enter group entry attendance in Tessitura outside of using NScan?
Hi Brandea, you can record attendance after an event by going to Season Manager, and then going to record attendance. You can enter the ticket numbers on that screen.
If you have the tickets, or ticket stubs with barcodes, you can also use N-Scan to scan after an event is over. The key is that you need to program the scanner to recognize the event after the date is past. The easiest way to do this is to look up the performance number of the event you want to scan for, then decide which scanner(s) you're going to use to scan the tickets.
Next, go to the System Tables module and edit the TR_NSCAN_PROFILES system table, adding the number of the performance you want to scan for to the Perf Str field of the entry for each of the scanner(s) you want to use to scan. Save the edited table.
On the device(s), either restart the N-Scan application or select Reload Profile from the menu. Once you've reloaded, you'll be able to start the Track Tickets tool and scan for the past performance as if it were taking place today.
When you've scanned all the tickets, edit TR_NSCAN_PROFILES again and remove the performance from the Perf Str field, then restart N-Scan or Reload Profile on the devices to remove the performance from the scanner.
