Does anyone track exchanges in Tessitura? If so, how do you go about doing so?

Two quick thoughts. Are the exchanges free or for a fee? If they are for a fee, there is a fee by performance report that tally's the totals. If I remember correctly, some orgs update the order MOS to an Exchange MOS. From there I suspect the Mode of Sale Analysis report would provide some insight.

We use an exchange MOS and exchange price types. We had in the pas free exchanges we recorded in the Custom tab of the constituent account, however, this customisation doesn't work at the moment (v15) and we are not using it any more since we stopped providing patrons with free exchanges.

We are not a consortium, so I apologize if our solution doesn't translate, but like Pim, we also use an Exchange MOS. We use the same price types for the new seats as the original seats, and fees are calculated using fee rules that fire based on constituencies the patron belongs to (Donors and Subscribers get free exchanges). We do not credit patrons the difference if they exchange to a lesser priced show/seat - I believe one of our former DBAs wrote a custom report to track income that ended up in those "downgrades," but I'd have to dig a bit to find that and see what she did.
