Is anyone using ticketing to book tours through Tessitura. Our current system has our Education department doing double-entry first into their Access tour database and then into the museum's scheduling system. We are looking to reduce their double-entry and get their data into Tessitura where it can be shared with our other consortium education departments.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Amelia
Hi Amelia,
We book all of our backstage tours through ticketing in Tess, and are in the process of bringing our Education department out of Access and into Tessitura for all of our other school programs.
Our tours are held once- or twice-daily at set times, and so we have created performances for all scheduled tours throughout the season. I’d be more than happy to share more about our set-up; we’ve only been in Tess for one season, but it’s been a total live-saver, especially for tours!
If you’d rather take this off-forum, my email address is lday@operaed.org.
Thanks,
Laura
