Free Tickets Online - No Credit Card Entry Required

Hi Tessitura Brain Trust,

We are looking to give away a certain amount of free tickets using a promo code and have found that entering a credit card number for comp tickets is a barrier for our community. Has anyone figured out how to do this online? Our current solution is to have them fill out a form and then our box office books them. We would like to move away from this and allow patrons to book themselves.

    HI Madski.  We do this all the time for our Previews with social influencers and industry both in TNEW v6 and TNEW v7. It's as easy as Derrek mentions.  Actually all our registration forms are on TNEW and that's a comp as well.  We have some JSON scripting there so when the #tickets is 0-1 and the Price is $0 we add one to the cart and make the pricing module vanish so that it doesn't look like a sale.  Looks like TNEW might be your answer.
