Hi Tessitura Brain Trust,
We are looking to give away a certain amount of free tickets using a promo code and have found that entering a credit card number for comp tickets is a barrier for our community. Has anyone figured out how to do this online? Our current solution is to have them fill out a form and then our box office books them. We would like to move away from this and allow patrons to book themselves.

Hi Madeline,
We do lots of free tickets online through TNEW v7 (Windcave payment provider) and, when the cart is at $0, the transaction skips the credit card page. It takes a little bit of time to skip over (page load is a bit slow), but works seamlessly other than that. We aren't doing this by promo code though, it is by price type...so maybe that makes a difference?
Thanks Derrek! Our current site doesn't allow for this scenario but we are moving to TNEW v7 in the spring.
