Exchanging Super Packages

I am in the middle of processing our subscriptions and our Box Office opens on Monday. I need to process or at least seat all of our subscriptions by then. We used Super packages that have 2 sub packages, each with a different facility. Because one of our facilities has about 220 seats (the other 500), I've run into some seating  issues, since I've run out of seats for our subscribers in our smaller facility. 

Some of our productions run one weekend, some run two. In the past, we've only offered one "Friday" package, since some shows only have one Friday (the productions in the smaller facility typically have 2 weekends to accommodate the lesser number of seats). Now, I would like to create a "second week" package for the package days we've reached capacity for. I created a "SUBFRIB" package in Test and then in Live and was able to process/seat a subscription. I want to ensure that I've done all of this correctly, so I would appreciate if you could look into this for me. 

Some of our subscribers have already requested the second week (even though it didn't exist before). In the past, I have manually exchanged for the performances that have two weeks. At this point, I have already processed some of these subscriptions (including payment), assuming I would do the same as I would in the past. However, now I would like to free up seats for the "first week," in the composite seat map. Is it possible to exchange an entire Super Package? If so, how? I've already added the exchange MOS to the super package. Also note that there is an add-on for these packages and those tickets would not need to be exchanged. Being able to do this would help us tremendously and as I've mentioned, time is of the essence. (I've also submitted a ticket as well). Thank you for your help and support.

  • Hi Michelle,

    By exchanging the tickets, you won't release the seats from the composite map. You just need to return the package in the original order by right clicking on the package seat in the facility and clicking return seat. You will receive a pop up box that reads, "Are you sure you want to return this Package seat?" with the option to click Yes or No. You choose Yes and then the package seat will be returned, which will free up that seat in the composite map as well.
