Tessitura Experts,
I am working on building a Student Membership in Tessitura. A Student Membership gives them access to all Philharmonic or Pops concerts. To become a student member we must first verify the identity of the patron. We will require valid Student ID and student email address (.edu) before purchasing.
When building the student's constituent, we would add their Student Member constituency to their account. This would then give access to purchase a Student Membership or Individual Student Tickets via Tnew. If they become a member, they will then have access to redeem their tickets via Tnew. For redemption, I created a Student Membership - Redeem price type at $0, since we have already received the monies via the Subscription Sale.
In summary, here is how I built this in Tessitura.
1. Created Web - Student Membership MOS - (I did this so we can limit the delivery method to Print at Home)
2. Created a Student Membership season, production season, production, and performance - Assigned proper MOS to performance
3. Created Student Membership Fixed Package - Assigned proper MOS to package
4. Created new Student Member constituency so MOS shifts from Web to Web- Student Member when customer logs in
When built this way I can sell via the application just fine, but I can't get this to appear on Tnew. When I am on the package page, the package does not appear. Yes, I did check Tnew keywords to ensure they are in the package and performance. When I manually type in the URL: my.rpo.org/packages/fixed/68 I get a message stating "this package is presently not on sale"
Does anyone have any idea of what I could be missing?
-Dan
Hi Dan - Does the Web User have access to the new mode of sale? Is the new price type in the new MOS? Those 2 things are the ones I tend to forget.
Are you logged in as someone who is eligible for this package as well? I'd check the same things that Sara mentioned otherwise.
Sara and Jordan,
Yes the web user has access to the new MOS. Yes, the price types needed are in the new MOS. I added the Student Membership constituency to my account. When I login the MOS shifts to the correct MOS, but the Student Membership package is not appearing on the Tnew package page.
What version of TNEW are you on?
Jordan,
We use Tnew version 7.26.2.2
I've experienced this problem before. After checking many settings, we found that a change needed to be made in the Mode of Sale table. One of the chart fields for the mode of sale was directing it to mimic a mode of sale we only use for offline sales. I wish I had a more detailed description of how we fixed it. Take a close look at the Modes of Sale table. That should help you find the problem.
Do you have the TN_Express_Package or TN_Express_AuxPkg keyword added on the package setup in Tess?
