Collecting Constituent Information for Walk Up Movie Purchases

Hi all,

Our marketing department is interested in collecting constituent information (name, email, address) for our walk up film screening sales.  Typically patrons come only about 5 minutes before a screening, and we have a big rush at the box office even when processing these tickets as general public orders.  Does anyone have experience with changing over to more data collection in this scenario?  Any tips, tricks, or lessons learned?

Thanks!

Liz

  • I would like to hear responses to this as well. Two things that help us up our data collection are scanning member cards, and asking to see student IDs (we are on a university and its quite common for students to be asked for their email). A couple ideas which we haven't implemented; a kiosk that sells tickets at a small discount and requires that constituents enter their basic info. Or maybe a form to fill out and bring back for a coupon? I'm just brainstorming here...
