Hi all,
We are trying to figure out a way to allow Season Ticket Holders to purchase additional tickets online for Hamilton.
Our plan is to send a link to 19-20 Season Ticket Holders that will allow them to purchase, but not allow anyone else to purchase (should they somehow get the link).
I have tested using a Pricing Rule with a promo code to change the ticket price for people with a 19-20 Season Ticket Holder Constituency, and that works, but still allows the folks without the constituency to purchase with the "original" price type. We have warnings in the pricing rule messaging that we will refund if folks go over the ticket limit or purchase without having a season, but ideally, we would break the order.
Anyone have any success with booting someone out of an event if they don't have the proper constituency OR any other ideas on how to approach this?
Thank you!

This might be a good case for a rank-based Mode of Sale flip, so rather than sending them a promo that flips their MOS, you would send them a link to the login page. We use that for our subscribers to access additional tickets throughout the summer, prior to single tickets on-sale, and it tends to work well.
Once logged in, they could then access any of the shows they are eligible to add-on, including Hamilton. You could then layer a pricing rule within that so you can limit how many Hamilton tickets they add-on before a message pops up telling them they have ineligible items in their cart.
We use rank-based MOS flip for subscribers as well, so that they have access to subscriber add-on tickets before the general public.
