Create daily packages without creating new performances in Product Creation Utility?

Hi All! I'm looking for a way to create a daily package that would bundle our admission performance with an add-on performance or two (an audio tour, guide book, etc . . .), but the caveat is: all of these performances are already in our system. As far as I can tell, the Product Creation Utility wants to create new performances for packaging rather than finding pre-existing perfs, putting them into performance groups, and building the daily packages.

Am I missing something, or is this just a limitation of the utility?

    Hi Justin,

    We use a custom script package builder to build our packages for Studio Art Classes.  We build out the performances first using a leader code in the event description which gets picked up by the script processes to then group the performances into the correct perf groups and finally packages.  I had hoped that we could use the new product creation utility in place of this, but because our classes are in a variety of production seasons and also different facilities, we are going to need to keep using our custom script.  I would be interested to see if there was another custom version of a package builder out there that didn't require both our Tessitura IT lead and myself coordinating times to run the custom scripts (the script work is all done on the back part of Tessitura) but if there was a way to do this through a utility, I would be all ears.

    I have been using the new product creation for our yearly performance builds, which has proven to be a time-saver in just being able to not build for dates we are closed, etc. that I used to have to manually delete once the custom perf creation was run.  And being able to copy an item across one season/production season into another is huge.
