We have built and started selling packages to our next season -- we have NOT begun seating (but shows are linked to seat maps) and now realized we would like to make a few of our houses GA and not assigned seating.
It there any "easy" way to change our current seat maps into GA houses (not just the ticket design as we will then also need to make them available online and need online order to reflect that the seat maps are now GA)
Any suggestions? I can try to explain our situation better if that helps -- thanks
Not sure if this would help, but you could sell the subscription in a MOS that does not seat the subscription package. You could then seat the package later when you are finished with your renewal period.
Thanks Dani, but I think we might be a bit beyond that point =(
Could you just create a GA price type for your map, then disable all other price types? Then you could make that performance not eligible for SYOS. Would that solve your problem? You should be able to do that on a show by show basis. Only internal folks would be able to see the normal map, but you could still treat it as GA and best seat everyone.
Our subs are already assigned to another price type but we will check this out! Thank you.
Perhaps you could create a new ticket design and take out some of the seat location references. You could replace it with text that says General Admission. I'm not sure how complex your venue is but this could do the trick.
sorry, I just reread your second paragraph. Good luck!
