since we are a General Admission facility we do not need to print an actual ticket for our guest...how do you turn off printing just for the ticket and leave receipts alone?
Following along on this - we've stopped printing tickets with each and every order, in favor of a daily batch print for bulk mailing. However, it means we've had to train our staff to just un-check the tickets box in their print screen with every order. It's not awful, but every click counts!
Curtis - there are a couple of options here.
The downside to both these methods is that orders will never be marked printed (i.e. the status of the sub-lineitems will never change from seated, paid to ticketed, paid) If that's important in your reporting, or if you want to count attendance, there are custom scripts in existence that will update ticket records to a ticketed and/or attended status to facilitate this.
