Hi All,
I have built a new super package that contains performances that are also in other packages.
When I load this new package, the composite map is completely available/white. Although when you go into each individual performance seats are taken as light blue (which is correct). By the way, the same seats are sold in all the performances, so technically when they are over lapped, they should be unavailable in the composite map.
My hope was that in the composite map the unavailable seats would be marked as so, letting us seat new subscribers around the already taken seats. But that is not the case.
And you can't put hold codes on composite maps so I am unsure how to signify to the staff, at a glance, which seats are truly open for sale.
Thoughts?
Jessica
I had this same thing happen with my packages. I'm interested to see if anyone has found a work around for packages created after rollover.
I have opened a support ticket. I will let you know the outcome.
Jordon, You may want to open up your own support ticket as the response I got was:
It sounds like you are running into a defect, found on the Tessitura Reported Defect List as reference number 133170, where composite maps are not properly populated on new packages. In the interim, running the UP_UPDATE_COMP_MAPS utility procedure in SQL Server Management Studio for the season should update the maps.
After this procedure was run the composite maps look fine.
