Hi,
TNEW 7 has us revamping lots of parts and pieces. A very simple tool, the keyword has me stumped--it's been 6 years since I have looked at setting them up. I put a new one in the table TR_TKW; category Performance, unique description, used in both Performance and interests. I apply it to a performance but it isn't working; if it is the only keyword, the event does not display on the calendar. I've checked out the documentation but can't figure out what I am missing.
Anybody got an idea?
Many thanks!
Carol
Hi Carol,
This is something I occasionally mess up - it's nearly always due to the fact that the entry is control grouped and that the Web doesn't have access to this Keyword.
Could this be the case for you?
Martin
Hi Martin,
I think so...the Web doesn't have access. The entry is 'control grouped'---not sure what you're referring to. As in a consortium?
I'm wondering is there another system table? Is it a TNEW setting?
Thanks for responding,
TNEW acts as a user and will therefore have an entry in the Security Module. This user will then be a member of a Group which in turn has access to particular Control Groups. (Sorry if this is being over simplistic!).
The entry in TR_TKW must me control grouped to whichever Control Group the web user Group has access to.
No need to apologize...often it is the simplest. Great idea! I tried that; Web API user has access to the system tables TR_TKW and T_Keyword, refreshed cache, I went back to one event with a new keyword...nothing.
But what is the Control Group applied to the new Keyword?
Thanks Martin
Default.
I just checked all the new keywords. One new keyword had a space at the beginning; (space)Folk, Pop, World. I took the space out and all the new keywords are working! All of them, not just this one...
Martin, many thanks, for taking the time to correspond. You helped me look a bit more closely.
