We want to do a Buy More and Save promotion with 3 shows and one promo code. i.e. Buy 1 show save 10%, buy 2 shows, save 25% and buy 3 and save 35%. I would like to make this happen so patrons can buy online and over the phone/in person. We use TNEW and I use pricing rules a lot now for a single offer, but I am wondering if anyone has made this work with multiple level offers before.
I am in the middle of testing some ideas, but would love any input that could make this process go faster.
Thank you in advance.
Veltria,
You should be able to accomplish this with pricing rules. You will need 3 Product Volume pricing rules. The first would be set for "1 to 1 products" of all three performances at whatever given price type with a Price Change and the discount amount set to 10%. Then for the second you would do "2 to 2 products", same everything else except for 25%, and the third one would be "3 to 3 products" and 35%.
We have done similar things in the past. Let me know if that does not make sense.
John
That's what I was hoping for (and currently testing).
Thank you.
Do you think this can be done at a cyo (flexiable) package level? or only single tickets?
Not even remotely sure. Thus far we have not needed to do any pricing rules of significance involving packages, so I am quite unfamiliar with how things may or may not stack up in those situations.
Sorry. Hopefully someone else reading these has more experience than I.
