Hi,
We have about 15 users working on our Patron Services department and for the last month for all of them except 3, the BOCA printer disconnects randomly from Tessitura and are unable to print tickets. The solution right now is that they need to log out and back in to Tessitura in order to print the tickets. This is certainly not very practical, specially when you have a line of people at the box office purchasing tickets.
The BOCA printers are connected directly to their work station via USB and we can test print (out of Tessitura) in all of them without any problem. We placed a ticket with RAMP and they have been working with us and so far we haven't been able to pinpoint the source of the problem.
We are a RAMP organization and the affected users are running Windows 7 and Citrix V12 and/or V9 and, as I mentioned before, we just started having this problem for the last 4 or 5 weeks.
I wonder if any of you out there using BOCA printers are having or had the same problem and if you did....how did you fix it?
I thank you all in advance for your assistance or comments.

Gustavo,
We had this problem a few months ago and with Tess support's help, we discovered the problem was Webroot that our IT consultant had added to our network. You may want to check your anti-virus software. Just a thought.
Susan
Well Susan....your thought turned out to be right and that was the problem.
I greatly appreciate your time and help.
Thanks
Gustavo
I'm so glad it solved your problem.
