I didn't know where the best place for this topic was so I put it in with Customer Service.
Our company has seen an uptick in troublesome patron behavior outside of the normal cell phone usage and hard candy wrappers. We seem to have the "put away your cell phone" schtick down pretty well with a recording of one of the actors talking about turning off your phone in character. Patrons love it!
Nowadays, a select number of our patrons seem to feel comfortable enough to vape in the audience during the show, get up whenever they please to visit the lobby (and displacing other patrons if they happen to be in the middle of a row and/or obstructing views of the patrons seated behind them), talking to each other during the show, among other small but significant issues.
I was wondering if any other organization was also having some of these issues and what steps you took to alleviate these issues in the kindest way?
