Digital Comps?

Is anyone doing digital comps that can be redeemed on the web? Did you build this functionality yourself? Do you have a third party vendor?  We are looking at ways we can provide comp benefits to companies and individuals they could redeem online or at our box office that are not a physical ticket.

  • The only way I've seen this done out the box is to make distinct promo codes and then limit the number of times it can be redeemed via an offer. This works better for companies where they get X # of tickets as part of partnership etc, but impractical for individuals as you'd need to set one up for each person (unless you risked a generic code, which increases the risk below).

There is also the risk of improper redemption if staff at the company share the promo code - but that's on them if they hit their limit early as it's their responsibility to advise staff it's internal only... (plus you have all the constituent data so you can query a list of names with them to find anyone who shouldn't be on there - a bit of admin though...)

Definitely would be good to have Tessitura come up with a tailored solution to this one - the request comes up a lot, in my experience.
