Change in seating layout

Hello All:

We are looking at a potential change in the seating layout in our theater.  Because the change would be substantial, I'm hoping to hear from others who have experienced a similar change. If you have gone through this, I would love to hear how you handled the messaging with patrons, planned the subscription rollovers, educated your patrons, etc.

Any thoughts or insights you might provide would be much appreciated.  Bonus points if you might be willing to meet briefly at TLCC!

    We've experienced this with our patrons with our Black Box Theatre layout. It takes a lot of time, and even when you educate the patrons, we have, and still are, experiencing patron amnesia about the changes, and their anger at the loss of what they perceived as "great" seats. You'll need to plot out some time to hand seat all of your subscribers into a dummy facility to then roll them into the new facility, which you will use going forward.
