We have a Disney Jr. show that is working with CID Entertainment for some VIP packages. I was wondering if anyone has recently had them on setting up VIP packages for the web and how you set up those VIP packages. Some of their requirements are throwing us some issues so was hoping for some guidance!
How we usually build VIP packages is with a new price zone for each VIP package and a new price type as well with another ticket layer for the lift price. However the show wants the VIP to be available during our pre-sale but not be password protected like the rest of the pre-sales. I cannot figure out an option for this since the VIP is a price zone.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I would just have my VIP Price Type associated with my regular Web MOS. You can always have your other Price Types start later.
It's a bit more work and set-up, but you could use allocations.
Leave all the VIP zone unallocated and then apply an allocation to the rest of the house. Using a promo code with a MOS swap to make the rest of the house available in a different MOS for the presale. If you give the presale MOS access to both the new allocations and the unallocated seats, then anyone that that logs in with the code will have access to everything, but anyone that comes to your site without the code will have access to the VIP packages only. Once the presale is done, you remove the allocations and all seats are available to everyone purchasing the performances.
