Help!! Print at Home Template File Size

Hey everyone,

I am having trouble getting my PAH template to <100 kb, as recommended by Tessitura. In fact, I can't get it any smaller than 230 kb. I have used Adobe Pro to optimize the file, including unembedding the fonts, but that doesn't create a small enough file. I have limited the text to as little as possible. I have compressed the logo within the file so it's as small as possible. I have tried online PDF compressors. Nothing is working.

I know there are other threads on this, but I've read through them and can't find anything that will work.

I'm hoping someone out there has a brilliant idea that may not have been mentioned yet, because right now I'm just about ready to throw my computer across the room!

Thanks in advance from our IT department, who doesn't want to salvage my computer from being thrown across the room. ;)

    Hi Kim,

That's definitely just a recommendation. Most of my designs are between 200 and 300, with some slightly larger.  When I get the file from my graphic designer I use the Adobe optimize option and whatever that comes up with is the size that I upload. We haven't had any issues that I'm aware of with the larger file size, though we rarely send more than 10 or so tickets in one order via PAH. The smaller the files, the more tickets you can send at once, but if you aren't sending many tickets per order your larger files will be fine.
