V14 Resource Scheduling & Order Bookings Report

Hello all! I'm posting this both here and in the Education forum, because I'm not sure which is the best place.

Has anyone figured out a way to sort the Order Bookings Report chronologically by start-time of a booking or perf? Right now, it sorts by either perf date or order date, but within each date it sorts by order number. In other words, if I'm trying to use it as a daily schedule that can be saved/printed/shared, it might put the 2:30pm tour before the 12:00pm tour if the 2:30 tour has a lower order number. 

We have been hoping to use the new Resource Scheduling features and the Order Bookings Report to replace an unsupported legacy system that we use to share a single chronological schedule that goes to docents, security, front desk staff...

Also, I had come to the conclusion that this report might be my best bet for checking our availability when taking calls for a new booking, but now I'm not so sure. I need to be able to see how many tours/docents are all assigned at specific times in order to know if I have room/people to book more. So far, I have found all other calendars within the system lacking in detail to be able to do this. If the Order Bookings Report cannot be sorted chronologically....I'm not sure we'll be able give up our legacy system and begin using these features instead.

P.S. We do not have TNEW; I post that since most resource posts I've seen have included it.

    Sorry this is coming late, new to Tessitura and still learning about forums haha!  I honestly stumbled across this accidentally. 

    We installed Tessitura only about 6 months ago and have been using Resource scheduling since the start.  We had to have a custom report built so that it would show the resources in chronological order.  I know this 'issue' was submitted as an enhancement request, so it might get fixed eventually.

    In terms of a calendar, I gave access to Ticketing Setup - Resource Setup.  I turned off all the edit capability, but just gave access to the calendar view.  Our staff use it often to see how busy a day is, etc... Perhaps this could work for you!  (Of course, not helpful if there people who need access to it don't have computer access....in our case, for those who don't have access, we give them a copy of our custom bookings report that sorts chronologically!)

    Thank you for replying! Yes, we have now also been told we need a custom report to accomplish this, and are waiting on a quote. Happy to hear it is already submitted as an enhancement though. 

    I have come around to the idea of using the calendar in Resource Setup for my own viewing purposes while taking reservations, but yeah, most of the people who need the schedule do not have computers. We have around 100 volunteer docents who receive this schedule for their weekly assignments, plus all the security officers. Front Desk staff does have computer access, but it's helpful for them to have the schedule with all the details in front of them without having to switch away from the Quicksale screen all the time. 

    If I could continue to pick your brain... with the Resource Calendar, I'm usually looking at dates months ahead. I find the easiest view is "list." But, if I click open one of the bookings to look at more details, and then go back to the calendar, it puts me back at "today" in calendar view and loses my place...you haven't be any chance discovered a setting to stop that from happening, have you?
