Folks,
Does anyone have a pricing rule that would help me with this? Scenario is that a teacher books 14 students at the Student Price Type and 2 teachers at the Teacher Price type. What I'd like the rule to do is drop one of the teacher tickets to be $0.00. I've created a rule (see the screen grab) of the type Multiple Price Type which I thought would do the trick but it doesn't appear to work.
Can anyone point out what I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance for any advice!!!
Martin
Hi Martin, long time no see/speak! Hope you are well and doing exciting things at NIDA? I just saw your post and thought I would let you know (although you may have already seen it?) that Kevin Sheehan posted about this a few days ago. Not sure what he had to say helps at all? Cheers,Jenn
Hi Jenn,
I don't believe I've seen it - and I can't find it! Can you point me in the right direction?
Hope all is well with you at QB - will you be at ANZTRUC?
Oh damn - I just realised the rule works (yippee!) but I'd missed the essential step of adding the rule to the appropriate Pricing Rule Set.
Rookie error <grrrr>
Yay, well done!
Probably won't see me at ANZTRUC as I am just on a contract at present with QB.
This was the name of the Topic - Pricing rules complimentary group ticket reducing the most expensive to be free not the cheapest? - now looking at it it's probably not really the same as your query :-)
