survey questions and known constituents

Can anyone tell me how "known constituents" are defined? Can it be by a constituency or attribute?

Thanks!

  • As far as survey questions go, It all boils down to the fact that there are only 2 options for the Owner of an  order:

    1) General Pub. (unknown constituents, technically, constituent number zero); or

    2) Known Constituents (they already have an existing record and are attached to the order as the Owner).

I believe that the definition you are looking for is number 2 above.

    Thanks, Neil.

What we are trying to do is flag monthly donors with expired credit cards so that when they make a purchase through box office, a survey question will come up asking if they would like to update their cc info. Box Office can then check yes or no, and report to Development. So the patron IDs are known - how do you identify them to get the survey question?
