Artist Contracts / Using Tessitura to Manage Documents

Hello!

Wondering if anyone is using Tessitura to manage / track artist contracts, teaching artists, etc.  I found one post from three years ago but nothing else.

Would love to hear from anyone who has developed custom screens, uses plans or has found new and interesting ways to manage documents in Tessitura!

Many, many thanks!

We generate our contracts from Tessitura. We use CSIs to capture contracting details and link to both a performance (program they are teaching) and the CID. We use a custom view and do an output set to generate our contracts. We also use a variety of attributes to identify who and what they do. We are also working on using Plans as workflow tracking for facilitating all of these programs and housing final documents, etc.

  • I used attributes and research>assets to track licensors / copyright licences a few years back. It allow me to pull reports of who we had licences with now or in the pass, expiry dates and any special conditions.

Could be extended to general contract term tracking, especially if you used control groups to hide anything sensitive or commercial in confidence.
