How are folks using tablets for your Front of House staff? We’re beginning to explore this option and before we invent the wheel, we were wondering how others are using the technology. Are you RAMP? Are you using TRBO? VPN? Android? iPad? What are your Front of House (as opposed to ticket-selling) staff using it for?

This past season (we started with Tessitura early this year) we used the TRBO / android tablet for entrance to / sales for some of our outdoor exhibits. There were a few hiccups with the printers, and connectivity issues, but overall it worked as needed. We also are RAMP, however the tablets haven't required us to log into RAMP prior to tablet usage.
As we've entered our slower season, we haven't used the tablets in a while, and haven't explored much more of their functionality.
Theoretically, the tablets can do most of the same things as a full computer, but ease of access and consistency would be the main issues.
