Refund Receipts

Hello

Slightly odd one, it seems recently when constituents have been given a card payment refund they receive an automatic email receipt saying 'your card has been charged £0' does anyone know a way of stopping this?

  • If this is happening automatically, I believe it must be related to custom functionality, presuming you are saying the email is coming from your organization and not the cardholder’s bank.

    However this is still somewhat familiar to me—the most likely reason would be that the email template being sent for these orders was not built to handle orders with payment refunds. Your first step should probably be to investigate exactly what logic or functionality is causing these emails to be sent.
