limit tickets sales to 135 tickets

a pretty basic request...but working in museums with NO limitations on numbers of tickets...we are now setting up movies in our 135 seat theater...have the performance built but forgot how to set the number of seats to 135...which would shut off ticket sales. any quick step by step?

  • I you already have it built and need to apply hold codes to block off seats, it’s faster to do that in season maintenance.  You can apply the holds across all your events at once.

    Hi Curtis!

Yeah, theaters are a whole different beast. We have a separate Facility for our theater vs general admission. In the Facility setup, you can limit the number of seats to be what you have available in your theater. Building a Facility is not a super-quick process, though. See here: http://www.tessituranetwork.com/Help_System_v125/Content/Facility%20Setup/Facility%20Manager.htm

If you have an existing Facility that is fairly close to the right size, you could try to use that one and then apply hold codes to limit the number of seats to 135. But if your existing Facility is a huge general admission space, applying that many holds would take would take forever!
