I have set up a pricing rule where if you buy 3 or more concerts, you save $5 on each concert. It was working fine as a Product Volume rule triggering a price change, but the box office wants the rule to trigger a price type change, not a price change. I switched it and now when I test it by selecting three eligible concerts, I get this error: CART_PRICING_RULES_ERROR and everything that was in the shopping cart is deleted. I can't, for the life of me, figure out what I'm missing. I can't find any documentation to help me determine what this message is referring to. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks,
Diane

I wanted to clarify that the user does not need security rights for a price type selected by a pricing rule. It’s designed that way so that you can have rules that can select price types that your operators can’t select manually and/or price types that customers won’t be able to select manually on the web.
Diane, if talking it through with Dot doesn’t help you puzzle it out, you should open a help ticket so the support staff can assist you.
