Hi Shelley,
If you are attending TLCC this month, think about convening sessions on both of your topics, Box Office of the Future and Technology needed for new Space, at our Open Space Discussions during the Conference.
The Opening Circle takes place on Monday morning at 9am and there are no other concurrent sessions at the same time, so you can come and learn all about the principals of OSD.
Your topics fits well into our theme of "Creativity, Culture and Technology: Thriving in an ever-changing world" and would make great discussion topics for the OSD sessions during the week.
In case you want to know more about Open Space there is a short video that the Open Space Planning Committee created here:

What do you foresee in the Box Office of the future? We're building an extension to house a new theater. What should we include in the Box Office? Our architect envisions one long counter when patrons enter the building. It will be sectioned off for class registration, ticket sales, general questions, merchandise sales, etc. Do you have a set up like this? What are the pros and cons? How does the Box Office spot differ on show days versus non show days? Is there a designated spot or does everyone get trained on everything? Our class registration is a different system than Tessitura so the front desk personnel currently are not trained on Tessitura. Thanks for your advice!
