Invoice refund or removal

had a School group visit paid by invoice...they didn't show so I needed to remove the order... I opened the order number deleted subline items. had a Neg balance so it would not save. made a mistake and used ON ACCOUNT as the refund status now I show this money on account. how do I get rid of it there?
