Sub renewals seated manually, so how do we change source code and order date?

Hi all,

Question...we moved to a new venue for our 2009-2010 season.  We sat all of our subscribers manually into the new venue.  Orders have started to come in and my staff can't change the source code or the order date.

Am I missing something or is that not possible?  If it's not possible, the only other way I can think of to do this correctly is to delete the original orders and create new orders as subscribers renew.  I'd appreciate immediate responses as we are processing now!  Thanks.

Although it isn't possible to change the order date once an order has been saved, as of v8.0 it became possible to change the source code of an existing order.  User groups that have edit rights to the Security object "Const Orders Source" can change an order's source code from within the Orders tab in Constituents.  Below is the description of this Security object from the Security_Administration.doc documentation:

    Const Orders Source
Edit rights grant access to change the source on an order from the Order Details window opened from the Orders tab in constituent records.  In order to use this feature the user must also have access to the mode of sale of the order.
