Foreign Address Issue on TNEW

Since upgrading to TNEW V6, we've had some folks from other countries encounter this error when ordering tickets on TNEW:

"You must have at least one address listed on your order to checkout on the web. Please use the manage addresses link."

Anyone else encounter this and know the root issue?

  • This just started happening for us too. I would love to get to the bottom of the issue.

  • We've had an issue since upgrading to TNEW 6.x that could be related, and I'm wondering if this may shed some light on your issue as well...

In our LTR_TN_EXPRESS_WEB_DEFAULTS system table, our Default Address Type is set to "Home Address." Some of our constituent records did not have an active address of that type, and those patrons would get a mysterious error when trying to progress past the Delivery Method page in TNEW. We were not seeing the exact error you described, but I thought I would mention this in case it might be related.

Our DBA is planning to run a SQL script to fix any records that don't have a "Home Address" type. We're just waiting for confirmation from TNEW support this this is for sure what we should do.
