We are experimenting with Pricing Rules... Is there a way to create a rule based on a list to allow early onsale of single tickets?

Yes. We just did something similar with a flex package that went on sale back in April. It worked really well. We timed the list to refresh hourly, catching any new buyers, just in case. I know it's not exactly the same thing, but I hope it helps! We attached our list under Constituent Criteria in the Pricing Rule. The Pricing Rule would be affected by the MOS so when the MOS is active your rule should activate.
