Hi Tessi Ticketing Folks,
This year we began offering a package that is setup in Tessitura as a fixed seat package but offers a 'choose your own' concert in the package. So it might have say 5 set concert dates + 1 CYO. In Tessitura this is a fixed seat package with a dummy concert date for the CYO and it's up to the customer to then call to pick that date and we do an exchange in Tessitura. They are not guaranteed the same seat for the CYO.
We've only come across one other organization doing these hybrid packages and are wondering if there are any others out there? And specifically if you've found a way around requiring the customer to call in order to pick the CYO date by creating a seemless pathway online?
Please let us know!
Thanks,
Chuck Buchanan / New York Philharmonic
Hello,
We’ve done something similar, but were able to create code on the website where the patron had to choose an event date/time from a drop down menu. This would then create a CSI within Tessitura where a rep was able to go in the next day and make the exchange within the account. Hope this helps. Ashley

Hello Charles: We've simply built a shadow performance (a phony event) called 'Subscriber's Choice' with one of our series, and we call them the next day to get the correct date. Then we use an exchange package to make sure they report accurately. Sorry I don't have a better answer. All the best, Mark
