Has anyone else ever experienced this? If you open Subscription Summary on a constituent record we've found that the season dropdown is a little wonky. I would say about 50% of the time it actually opens to the next season (which is what we want for renewal time). The rest of the time it opens to the current season or even a previous season. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to it at all and sometimes it's different each time you open it for the same constituent!
I've noticed this for a few years now and am simply in the habit of checking every time I open sub summary. But we have lots of new box office staff this year and we're seeing many mistakes (printing incorrect renewal forms, changing the type on the wrong season, etc).
If this is something you've noticed, do you know a way to make the season we want to stick?
