records that are duplicated

we want to make sure that none of our constituents records are duplicated, is there a way of merging constituents' records together, when they are actually the same constituent just with a little bit of deifference for example one record with a first name and one without.

????

cheers

  • The Tessitura documentation should answer all of this for you - it can be found in the Learning andf Resources section of the website; but this should be the link you need.

  • Yes there is a merge program in the Constituent module that both identifies possible duplicates that be scheduled for merging and duplicates can be scheduled ad hoc as well.  Your AppSupport and you can establish how often the  merge program is run.
